Bertil Linné moved from Boden to Stockholm to study at, among other art schools, Konstfack (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design). He also worked as an assistant to artist Einar Forseth for some years before he in1940 returned to Boden. Characteristic of his paintings was his strong colouristic sense; his motifs varied although he often found them in his immediate surroundings. He executed several public art works, the last one was the altar painting in the Sävast congregation’s Mariakyrkan. Linné kept on painting to the very last and he managed to complete thousands of art works in his life time.
